You can add money to your Rupeezy account in three ways: UPI, Net Banking, or a bank transfer by IMPS, NEFT or RTGS. All three start from the Add Funds screen in the Rupeezy app. Whichever you use, the money has to come from a bank account linked to your Rupeezy account — transfers from any other account won't be credited.
Which payment methods can I use in the app?
Open Account → Funds → Add Funds and enter an amount. The screen offers:
- UPI — pay from a UPI app, or by entering a UPI ID.
- Net Banking — listed under Other Options, this takes you to your bank's login page.
- Bank Transfers — also under Other Options, this shows the account details to send money to from your own bank.
How do I pay using UPI?
UPI gives you two choices on the Add Funds screen:
- UPI Apps — tap the app you want to pay from and approve the payment there. Tap Others to see the full list.
- UPI ID — type a UPI ID and Rupeezy sends a collect request to it for you to approve. The app shows a notice that this option (UPI Collect) will be discontinued as per NPCI guidelines — NPCI decides when — so prefer paying through a UPI app.
- UPI QR code — on Rupeezy web on a desktop, you can also scan a QR code with your phone's UPI app.

How do I pay using Net Banking?
Tap Net Banking under Other Options on the Add Funds screen and then the Add button. Rupeezy redirects you to your own bank's page, where you log in and approve the payment. For the full walkthrough, see How do I add money to my Rupeezy account using Net Banking?
Can I transfer money from my bank instead?
Yes. You can send money to Rupeezy from your own bank using IMPS, NEFT or RTGS. You start this transfer in your bank's app or netbanking, not in the Rupeezy app, so you need your Rupeezy account details first — tap Bank Transfers under Other Options on the Add Funds screen to see them. The account number shown there is your own virtual account number — ACSNSE followed by your client code, which is how Rupeezy knows the money is yours — so always copy it from your own app.

Can I add money from any bank account?
No. Money must come from a bank account linked to your Rupeezy account — SEBI regulations require this. If you've already sent money from an unlinked account, see Can I transfer funds from bank accounts that are not linked to my Rupeezy account? To link a new bank account, see How do I change my bank account number?
Is there a charge for adding money?
The Add Funds screen shows a fee against Net Banking — ₹8 + GST for transfers under ₹50,000, and free above ₹50,000. That fee is added on top of the amount you enter, so your bank asks for slightly more than you typed. Bank Transfers is listed as Free, and no fee is shown against UPI. If you use a bank transfer, your own bank may still charge you for the IMPS, NEFT or RTGS transfer.
Things to keep in mind
- Use the same bank account you gave during account opening, or another account you've since linked.
- Money you add shows in your Dock ledger straight away. Deductions, such as the day's charges, are posted to the ledger after billing.
- If the money has left your bank but isn't showing in your Rupeezy account, see Why are my transferred funds not updated?
