Rupeezy's security systems monitor for suspicious or anomalous activity from an IP address — like an unusual pattern of login attempts — and can temporarily block that IP as a precaution. You get an email when this happens so you know why a connection from that IP failed.
Why was my IP address blocked?
This is an automated security measure, not a lockout tied to your account. Rupeezy's systems flag an IP address when they see activity that looks suspicious or abnormal coming from it — like an unusual pattern of login attempts — and block that IP temporarily as a precaution, the same way many secure platforms do. The block stops the connection from that IP before it reaches your account, so it isn't a sign your account itself was accessed or compromised.
This can happen without anything being wrong on your end — for example, if your internet provider or mobile carrier assigned you an IP address that was recently flagged for someone else's activity.
What should I do about it?
The block is temporary and automatic — it clears on its own after a short cooldown period. Usually the simplest fix is to just try again a little later.
- Wait and retry — the IP is unblocked automatically; no action is needed on your part.
- Switch networks, if you need access immediately — try a different Wi-Fi network or mobile data. Since the block is tied to the IP, not your account, a different connection works right away.
- Still blocked after a while? Raise a support ticket so Rupeezy can check what triggered it.
Things to keep in mind
- This is a network-level security measure, separate from your account being frozen or locked.
- Being on a shared IP (public Wi-Fi, a mobile carrier's shared address pool) makes it more likely you'll occasionally be affected by someone else's flagged activity.
