The Registrar and Transfer Agent (RTA) for an IPO only publishes allotment records on its own portal after it finishes verifying every application and finalising the basis of allotment — checking before that point, or entering a detail incorrectly, is why the portal shows nothing.
Why does the RTA's portal show no result?
- Allotment isn't finalised yet. After the bidding window closes, the RTA verifies every application, decides the basis of allotment (in consultation with the exchange), and only then uploads the records to its portal. Checking before that's done returns nothing to show, no matter what your result will be.
- Non-allotted applications don't always appear. Some RTAs populate the portal only with applications that were allotted shares — so an empty result on an oversubscribed issue isn't proof you weren't allotted, it can just mean the RTA hasn't listed that application at all.
- A detail was entered incorrectly. The RTA's lookup matches your application against the exact PAN, application number, or Demat/Client ID it holds on file — a mismatch or typo returns "not found," even for a genuinely valid application.
Where can I check instead?
Your own application's status on Rupeezy doesn't depend on the RTA's portal being updated — go to IPOs > Applied on the Rupeezy app to see your bid, mandate, allotment and refund status. See "How to check the IPO bid and allotment status?" for the full timeline and what each stage means.
Things to keep in mind
- The RTA's portal is run by the RTA, independent of Rupeezy — see "What are Registrar and Transfer Agents (RTA)?" for what it does and how to find the RTA for a specific IPO.
- Give it time before assuming something's wrong — allotment is typically finalised a couple of working days after the issue closes, well before the listing date.
