Can I cancel or delete a mutual fund order on Rupeezy?

No. Once you place a mutual fund order on Rupeezy — whether it is a purchase or a redemption — it cannot be cancelled or deleted. Mutual fund orders are collected against the fund's cut-off time and submitted to the fund house for processing, so once an order is placed there is no way to recall it from the app.

There is no Cancel or Delete option on a mutual fund order anywhere in the app — not on the order in your Orders list, and not on the order's own detail screen. What you can do next depends on the state the order is in.

What if I haven't paid for the order yet?

If you started a purchase but did not finish paying, nothing has been sent to the fund house yet — a purchase is only placed with the fund house once the payment is completed. So there is nothing to cancel: if you don't complete the payment, the order does not go through, no units are bought, and no money leaves your account.

You will still see the unpaid order under the Orders section with a pending-payment status. Its only action is Invest, which is there to complete the payment if you change your mind — there is no button to remove the entry.

If money was debited but the order was never confirmed, it is refunded to you automatically. See My amount got debited but the transaction shows as failed. When will I get the refund? and the Rupeezy Mutual Fund Refund Policy for how and when.

What if the order is already paid and being processed?

Once your payment is confirmed, the money is on its way to the clearing corporation and the order is submitted to the fund house — it can no longer be stopped. The order is allotted units at the applicable NAV for that day, based on when your funds are realised against the fund's cut-off time.

If you no longer want the investment after the units are allotted, you can redeem (sell) them. Redeeming is a fresh order, not a reversal of the purchase — it is placed at a later day's NAV, and any exit load the fund charges may apply.

What about a redemption (sell) order?

A redemption order also cannot be cancelled once you have confirmed it. It is sent to the fund house the same way a purchase is, and once the redemption settles, the sale proceeds are credited to your registered bank account.

How do I avoid placing an order I don't want?

Because an order can't be undone, the surest step is to check it before you confirm:

  • On a purchase, review the fund name and amount on the confirmation screen — nothing is sent to the fund house until you complete the payment.
  • On a redemption, review the fund, folio and amount before you confirm — a redemption has no payment step, so it is placed the moment you confirm it.
