Investments on Rupeezy are processed via a payment aggregator and settled to ICCL (Indian Clearing Corporation Limited), the SEBI-registered clearing corporation.
Rupeezy itself does not directly handle investor refunds, any reversal of funds in case of failed or rejected transactions is initiated by ICCL and credited back to your linked bank account.

1. Failed or Pending Payments

  • UPI Payments

    • If a UPI transaction is debited from your account but the order is not confirmed, ICCL initiates a refund within 5 working days.

    • You will receive an email confirmation from ICCL once the refund is processed.

  • Net Banking Payments

    • If the payment fails or remains unmatched, ICCL reverses the amount to your bank account by the next working day.

    • If reported to ICCL, reversals may take up to 5 working days.

  • NEFT / RTGS Transfers

    • In case of unmatched or incorrect details, ICCL automatically refunds the money to your account within T+4 business days.


2. AMC Rejected Orders

  • If a mutual fund house (AMC) rejects your purchase order (for reasons such as cutoff time, incorrect folio details, or AMC restrictions), ICCL credits the funds back to your account.

  • This refund is typically processed within T+5 business days.


3. Redemption Proceeds

  • Redemption payouts (when you sell mutual fund units) are also processed by the AMC/ICCL and credited directly to your registered bank account.

  • Timelines:

    • Liquid funds – usually T+1 working day

    • Equity / Debt funds – usually T+2 to T+3 working days


4. Erroneous Deductions

  • In the rare event of an incorrect debit where units are not allotted, ICCL will refund the amount after reconciliation.

  • Such refunds typically reflect in your account within 7 working days.


Important Notes

  • Rupeezy does not retain or refund investor money directly. All reversals are processed by ICCL in line with SEBI regulations.

  • Refunds are always credited back to the same bank account used for the original transaction.

  • Rupeezy will notify you via app/email/SMS when ICCL confirms a refund.

  • In case of unusual delays, you may raise a ticket with Rupeezy Support, and we will coordinate with ICCL on your behalf.
