Why is the "SEBI Risk disclosures" pop-up shown every time I log in?

Rupeezy shows a Disclaimer pop-up with SEBI Risk disclosures every time you log in, on the mobile app and on Rupeezy web. This is a regulator-mandated notice about Futures & Options trading, not a Rupeezy-specific message — every broker shows the same figures, and it appears regardless of which segments are active on your account. New to derivatives? See What is F&O (Futures and Options)?.

What does the pop-up say?

SEBI Risk disclosures pop-up shown on the Rupeezy app home screen after login

The pop-up lists four points under SEBI Risk disclosures:

  1. 9 out of 10 individual traders in equity Futures and Options Segment, incurred net losses.
  2. On an average, loss makers registered net trading loss close to ₹50,000.
  3. Over and above the net trading losses incurred, loss makers expended an additional 28% of net trading losses as transactions costs.
  4. Those making net trading profits, incurred between 15% to 50% of such profits as transaction cost.

A Tap to know more link opens further detail on the disclosure. For background on what these figures mean, see What are the risks of trading Futures and Options (F&O)?.

Do I have to do anything?

Tap Ok, got it! on the app (I understand on Rupeezy web) to dismiss it and continue. It doesn't block or delay any action — it's shown once per login, right before you land on the home screen.

Things to keep in mind

  • This is the same standard disclosure SEBI requires every broker to display — it isn't specific to your account or trading activity.
  • It appears on every login, on the mobile app and on Rupeezy web, whether or not you trade in Futures & Options.
