Can I apply for SME IPOs on Rupeezy?

Yes—you can apply for SME IPOs on Rupeezy, using the same flow as a mainboard IPO: pick the issue in the IPO section, bid in lots, and approve the UPI mandate. The main difference is that SME issues have a much higher minimum investment, because the lot size is larger.

How is an SME IPO different from a mainboard IPO?

  • Higher minimum investment. SME lots are sized so that one lot is worth roughly ₹1,00,000 or more, so the minimum you can apply for is far higher than a typical mainboard IPO.
  • Listed on the SME platform. SME shares list and trade on the exchanges' dedicated SME segments, not the mainboard.
  • Same application method. You still apply through the IPO section with a UPI mandate—see How do I apply for an IPO?.

Allotment, fund blocking, and refunds work the same way as any IPO. If you aren't allotted, your blocked amount is released—see When will I get my money back after an IPO?.
