This means the stop-loss leg you've set doesn't fit the format Rupeezy's GTT requires — usually the trigger price, limit price, or order type (Limit vs Market) for the stop-loss leg isn't filled in correctly.
What typically causes this?
A GTT stop-loss leg needs either a valid Market order (no price needed) or a valid Limit order with both a trigger price and a price filled in. If either is missing, zero, or set to something the system doesn't recognize as one of these two, the stop-loss leg is rejected as invalid before the GTT is even created.
What should I check?
- That you've selected either Limit or Market for the stop-loss leg — not left it unset.
- That the stop-loss trigger price and (for Limit) the price field are both filled in and non-zero.
- That the trigger price makes sense relative to the option's current premium — index options can be volatile, so a trigger far outside the reasonable range can also be flagged.
Things to keep in mind
- This is a form-validation message, not an order rejection — it means the GTT itself wasn't created yet, so no order or margin was affected.
- Re-check every field on the stop-loss leg before submitting again.
