Rupeezy supports Passkey login, a faster, secure and more convenient way to log in without entering a password/PIN. A Passkey is a secure login credential based on biometrics (Face ID, fingerprint) or your device PIN. You can enable it during login or from the settings screen, and use it for seamless logins from the same device.

How does it work & is it safe?

When you register a passkey after logging into your trusted device, a unique combination of your device (something you have) and your biometric (something you are) or device PIN (something you know) is registered on Rupeezy. During future logins, this combination is verified and matched by Rupeezy to grant access to your account, ensuring compliance with two-factor authentication (2FA).

Passkey login is highly secure and supported by several leading apps and websites, including WhatsApp.

How to Set Up a Passkey?

You can register a passkey as follows:

1. During Login

  • Once logged in, you'll see a screen to "Enable Passkey"

  • Tap "Continue" to register a passkey using your device’s biometric or PIN authentication.

2. From the Settings Screen

  • Go to Profile > Settings > Passkey

  • Tap the “Continue” button

  • Authenticate using biometrics or PIN to complete the setup

Logging in with a Passkey

Once a passkey is registered:

  • On subsequent logins from the same device, you’ll be prompted to use Face ID, fingerprint, or your device PIN.

  • Simply authenticate to log in—no MPIN or OTP needed!

How to Delete a Passkey

You can remove your registered passkey anytime:

  • Profile > Settings > Passkey

  • Tap the “Delete” button against the passkey you want to delete

  • Confirm the action. Once deleted, you will need to log in with your OTP/MPIN next time.

Note:

  • Passkeys are device-specific. If you switch devices, you'll need to register a new passkey.

  • You can always log in using your OTP and MPIN if passkey login is unavailable.
