We are constantly working to make your trading experience simpler and better. Introducing a new functionality, you can now custom filter your holdings with the Sort & Filter option.
This feature enables you to view your positions, MTF positions and holdings as per their daily or overall performance in different scenarios, e.g. sort in alphabetical order, sort on the basis of a day’s percentage change in price, absolute change in profit and absolute % change in profit.
The feature will be handy to search for particular holding or position, view performance on each day sorted high to low or vice versa. With this view, you can analyse which holding is on highest gain/loss for a particular day or overall and take a quick decision.
Rupeezy doesn't have a separate way to group your positions, orders or holdings into custom categories — Sort and Filter, below, is how you organise the view instead.
How to use Sort and Filter in the Positions, MTF and Holdings screens
On your Rupeezy Flow app, launch the Positions screen, select the ‘Positions’, ‘MTF’ or ‘Holdings’ tab and tap on the ‘gear’ icon available beside the search text box.

A P&L Based on Market Depth toggle at the top switches your profit/loss figures between last-traded-price and market-depth-based pricing. Below that, Gain Type decides which profit figure the Sort options use to rank your view:
- MTM: mark-to-market gain.
- Today’s Position Gain: the gain made on the position today.
- Overall Gain: the total gain since you opened the position.
Here you can select one of the parameters to Sort your view:
-
Alphabetically: This option arranges your list in alphabetical order of A-Z or Z-A as per the selection, default is A-Z.
-
Today’s % Change: This option arranges your list in the order of today’s percentage change in price. E.g. INFY’s price moved up 5% and TCS’s price moved up by 4% so INFY will be on the top of TCS if ‘High to Low’ is selected in Today’s percentage change. Similarly if ‘Low to High’ is selected in Today’s percentage change then TCS will be shown first in the list and then INFY.
-
Today’s Absolute Change: This option arranges your list in the order of absolute gain made in the scrip, so this option not only takes price but also takes quantity into consideration.
E.g. if you have 5 INFY stocks and 10 TCS stocks and let's say INFY price moved up by ₹50 (let’s assume 5%up) and TCS price moved up by ₹40 (let’s assume 4% up). Your Today’s Absolute Gain in INFY would be ₹50 x 5 = ₹250 while Today’s Absolute Gain in TCS would be ₹40 x 10 = 400. Which means if in today’s gain filter High to Low is selected then TCS would be shown above the INFY in the list.
-
Absolute % Change (MTF and Holdings only): This option arranges your MTF or Holdings in the order of overall percentage change in price since the time you bought the stock. E.g. INFY’s price moved up 15% and TCS’s price moved up by 10% compared to your respective buy price of these stocks. Then INFY will be on the top of TCS if ‘High to Low’ is selected in Absolute Percentage Change option. Similarly if ‘Low to High’ is selected in Absolute Percentage Change then TCS will be shown first in the list and then INFY.
-
Absolute Change (MTF and Holdings only): This option arranges your MTF or Holdings in the order of overall gain since you bought, in rupees rather than percentage.
-
Invested Value (MTF and Holdings only): This option arranges your MTF or Holdings by how much you've put into each position.
Whichever of these you pick also changes the figure shown on each card, not just the sort order — see How do I see the net change and day change in holdings in % and absolute values? for exactly what Today's Absolute Change and Absolute Change display.
On the Positions tab, you can also filter your view by:
-
Segment Type: NSE F&O, BSE F&O, or Equity.
-
Product Type: Intraday or Delivery. If Intraday is selected and Delivery is unselected then positions screen will only show intraday positions and vice versa. This should help you focus on your intraday trades while keeping long term trades in background.
At least one option must stay selected in each of Segment Type and Product Type — you can't clear a row down to zero. You can always reset the filters by tapping the reset button or just refreshing the screen by swiping from top to down. Once you've found the position you're after, see How do I square off positions on the Rupeezy app? to close it.
How to use Sort and Filter in the Orders screen
The Orders screen has its own sort and filter controls, separate from Positions, MTF and Holdings. It also groups your orders into tabs — Pending, Executed, Rejected, GTT and Stock SIP — so you can jump straight to orders in a particular state before sorting or filtering further. See Why do orders get rejected? if an order lands in the Rejected tab.
On your Rupeezy Flow app, launch the Orders screen and tap the icon beside the search box. This lets you:
- Sort your order list by order time — latest first or oldest first.
- Filter your order list, shown below:

- Segment Type: EQ, CE, PE, or Futures.
- Product Type: Intraday, MTF, T+5, or Delivery.
- Transaction type: Buy or Sell.
- Variety: Limit or Market.
You can select more than one option in each row — at least one option must stay selected. Tap Reset to clear your filters.
