You can activate DDPI (Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction), the alternative to a POA, in two ways: online in the Rupeezy mobile app by giving your consent with an OTP, or offline by posting a signed paper DDPI form to Rupeezy. How do I activate DDPI online?
- Log in to the Rupeezy mobile app.
- Tap View Profile.
- Select the Personal section.
- Scroll down to DDPI Activation.
- Give your consent and enter the OTP.
Activation can take up to 1 to 2 hours after you complete these steps.
How do I submit a DDPI form offline?
- Print the DDPI form on plain A4 paper: Download the DDPI form.
- On the first page, fill in your name, email ID, mobile number and PAN.
- On the second page, sign at Client - 1st Holder.
- Get one witness to sign and fill in their details in the witness column.

- Until DDPI is active, you authorise each sale yourself with an NSDL e-DIS OTP at the time of selling.
