Your Rupeezy account is usually opened within 48 working hours of completing the application, provided your KYC is verified and all documents submitted are correct. If you complete your application on a Saturday evening or a Sunday, it will be processed on the next working day (Monday).
Once your account is active, your login credentials will be sent to your registered email address and mobile number.
What can delay account opening?
KYC verification by the KRA
If you are completing KYC for the first time, or if you modify any KYC details during the application (address, name, contact details, etc.), your records must be verified by the KYC Registration Agency (KRA) as per SEBI regulations. This verification can take up to 72 working hours, and your account will be opened only after the KRA approves it.
If your KYC is not approved, we will email you the reason along with the documents needed to resolve it.
Discrepancies in documents
Your application may be put on hold if there is a mismatch or issue in the submitted details, for example:
- Name mismatch between PAN, Aadhaar and bank account
- Unclear or cropped document images or signature
- Bank proof that does not show your name, account number or IFSC
- Mismatch between the photo or IPV and the documents uploaded
In such cases, our team will reach out over email with the corrections required. Your application moves ahead once the updated documents are submitted.
How can I track my application status?
Log in to the Rupeezy mobile app with your registered mobile number to check the current status of your application.
If your account has not been opened within 48 working hours (after KRA approval, where applicable), please raise a ticket and our team will look into it.
