How much is the brokerage on Rupeezy Global?
Brokerage is 0.25% of turnover, where turnover is the value of the trade. It is charged on both the buy and the sell, with a minimum of $0.01 per order. For example, if you buy US stocks worth $1,000, the brokerage is $2.50. When you later sell shares worth $1,200, the brokerage on that sale is $3.00.
When you sell, a small US regulatory fee is also charged on top of brokerage.
What do I pay when I add funds to Rupeezy Global?
Every fund add carries GST on the currency conversion and a PSP charge. The exchange rate may also include a forex markup.
1. GST on currency conversion. The government charges GST on the amount of currency you convert, in slabs:

Some worked examples:
- Add ₹10,000: 0.18% is ₹18, so the ₹45 minimum applies. GST is ₹45.
- Add ₹90,000: 0.18% is ₹162. GST is ₹162.
- Add ₹3.5 lakh: ₹180 + 0.09% of ₹2.5 lakh = ₹180 + ₹225. GST is ₹405.
- Add ₹15 lakh: ₹990 + 0.018% of ₹5 lakh = ₹990 + ₹90. GST is ₹1,080.
2. PSP charge. A payment service provider (PSP) charge of $1.18 applies to every fund add.
3. Forex markup. The rupee-to-dollar rate you get may include a markup. Before you confirm a fund add, the screen shows the indicative exchange rate and all the charges on that transaction, so you can see exactly what you'll pay.
