Yes. On Rupeezy you can place more than one order in the same mutual fund scheme on the same day. This applies to both purchases and redemptions — there is no per-scheme or once-a-day limit on placing orders. The only condition is on redemptions: you can redeem again only while you still have units available in that scheme.
Can I place more than one purchase order in the same scheme on the same day?
Yes. You can invest in the same scheme as many times as you like on the same day. Each purchase is placed as its own order, and having an earlier order in progress does not stop you from placing another.
When you add to a scheme you already hold, the fund house may set a minimum additional purchase amount for that folio, so a repeat investment has to meet that minimum. Rupeezy shows the applicable minimum on the order screen before you confirm.
Can I redeem from the same scheme more than once on the same day?
Yes, as long as you have units available to redeem. When you place a redemption, the units in that request are set aside while it is being processed. If you want to redeem again from the same scheme on the same day, the amount you can redeem is reduced by whatever is already in progress — so you can only redeem against the units that are still free.
Once your entire folio is already in redemption, the Redeem option for that scheme becomes unavailable until one of the pending requests settles. At that point there are simply no free units left to redeem.
Can I buy and redeem in the same scheme on the same day?
Yes. A purchase and a redemption are independent of each other. A pending purchase does not block you from redeeming, and a pending redemption does not block you from buying more of the same scheme — subject to the same units-available rule on the redemption side.
Which NAV applies when I place several orders on the same day?
Each order is treated on its own for NAV. An order gets the NAV of the day it meets the fund's cut-off time — orders that meet the cut-off get that day's NAV, and orders placed after it get the next business day's NAV. So two orders on the same day can end up on different NAVs if one falls on either side of the cut-off. See What are the cut-off timings for mutual funds? for the exact timings and applicable NAV.
Things to keep in mind
- Redemptions depend on free units. Units already in a pending redemption are locked until that request settles — you can redeem again only against the units that remain.
- Exit load may apply to each redemption. If your scheme charges an exit load within a holding period, it applies to every redemption you make, not just the first. See What is Exit Load?.
- Repeat purchases may have a minimum amount. Adding to an existing folio can carry a minimum additional purchase amount set by the fund house.
