On Android, the Rupeezy app uses your phone's Android System WebView and your default browser to render some in-app screens — including the Option Chain and a stock's Fundamental Data view — so an outdated version of either can make those screens open blank, or make the app crash. Both update the same way, from the Google Play Store, not from inside the Rupeezy app.
How do I update them?
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Search for Android System WebView and tap Update if one is available. On phones where it shows as disabled, update Chrome instead — it provides the WebView there.
- Do the same for your default browser (usually Google Chrome).
Things to keep in mind
- Both apps update automatically on most phones when Play Store auto-update is on. This fix is for when auto-update is off, or an update got stuck.
- This is an Android-only fix — iOS doesn't have a separate System WebView component.
- Option Chain or a stock's Fundamental Data screen opening blank is the same symptom — update WebView and your browser first, before assuming it's a connectivity issue.
