How to Set Up MCP in Claude Desktop

1. Download Claude from https://claude.ai/download and sign in


2. Go to Settings → Developer.


3. Click Edit Config → This opens the file explorer.




4. Edit the file named claude_desktop_config.json.



5. Paste the following config inside:

6. Save the file and close it.


7. Restart Claude Desktop. This is how the developer config should look


8. Go to new conversation and type “Login” and click on the link in Claude


9. Select “Allow always” or “Allow once” if prompted anywhere.


10. Link will open a login window in web browser, login using your Rupeezy account in the browser.


11. Once logged in, go back to Claude and type your queries e.g. “Fetch my stock portfolio and find red flags”
